I mean I definitely agree with the sentiment of what you are saying, but you are forgetting that the whole "Cool Britannia" thing is actually a really crappy Dad joke pun based on the national anthem "Rule Britannia"; which elevates the whole thing from absolutely God awful to only God awful.
Anyways sorry to ramble, I really enjoyed the joke and it was nice to see a little bit of a sample of what your stand up set is like. I hope that i get to see it in person one day.

It was when Britain had all those cool rock bands; oases, the velve, blur to mention few.Just google uk bands 1990, they dominated that music genre. They deserved to call themselves cool. Edit: and Japan is cool too, for a different reason but always cool
