Am I the only one that would like a more in-depth explanation of this model?! It looks much more complex than the little drawings I always saw in textbooks and doctors’ offices. 😂 I had a friend who had her uterus removed (due to a mass) but they kept her ovaries and I was like, “so are they just floating there?!” Clearly there is more to all of it

Didn't expect this to make me tear up. I lost a tube to my second ectopic pregnancy, and my gynocologist told me about a patient of hers that had lost the left tube and the right ovary who got pregnant naturally. Still, I'm rather done with trying, given that hormonal birth control was always the only thing to help with my pms and cramps.

My Mom had an atopic pregnancy and had one of her fallopian tubes removed and her doctor told her she had a decreased chance of getting pregnant, I was born about a year later and she had a miscarriage about a year after me. She then had a full hysterectomy. This was back in the 60's so they didn't know as much as they know now.

I'd like to hear you speak on Bartholin gland cysts. Why a person, who hasn't been sexually active in over 5 years, would keep getting infections in that gland. I think it's purpose is to lubricate the vagina walls? It's been treated by countless antibiotics and several surgical lancing. It's always infected on the same side if that's even possible. Can that whole gland be removed? Are there adverse reactions to a removal?
I've never asked a question on a forum like this before, and I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly. I hope someone with a medical background can answer my questions.

I know this might not be directly related to the fallopian tube subject but I was wondering how post kidney transplant medication affect the fallopian tubes if I’m anyway. I’ve heard half my life once I was diagnosed with kidney disease that I could no longer have children. But now that 9 months post transplant have passed, I’m wondering what are my chance of being able to have kids. Thank you in advance 😊

I lost 1 tube because of an ectopic pregnancy. It was my 4th pregnancy. Doctor told me to wait 3 months before trying to get pregnant again (so surgery site could properly heal). Waited the 3 months, got pregnant on the first try. (I got pregnant 5 times in total, 4 living kids, got pregnant on the 1st try each times)
