Because the author depends on being in the good graces of the professional critics that synthesize public opinion, in order to get not merely published (which you can already do on your own blog), but also distributed to a wide enough audience to make a meaningfully political and financial impact.
Those in power have already restratified the correct channels of distribution, through delegitimizing genuinely independent grassroots channels by demonstrating their inability to self-curate, through allowing things like guerrilla edits, forum trolling, being able to co-opt or buy out legacy countercultural memes and authors, etc.
Thus the author's criteria for being in good standing with those in control of the legacy, and therefore, regime-legitimized means of distribution is politically determined.
It would take a prolonged, organized and very-well legally defended, not to mention financed campaign of trolling and mockery of the sacred cows of this regime's media lackeys in order to damage the legitimacy of this arrangement.
