We are African but we are brown. We are not black. Northern highlanders are Habesha. I think Africa can accomodate all Africans. We are certainly not white or Arab like others want to claim. Westerners or Black people or Arabs can try to spin things in their own narratives. But we are African and Habesha in the North. The southerns are Kushitic. Even Etbiopia itself is diverse. In anycase it's not upto anyone White, Black or Arab to define us but us. As a northerner I am Habesha African with a completely different history than Kushitic Ethiopians. Till the 19th century there were wars in Ethiopia before it finally formed as a country. That's the truth. Not the ever peaceful Ethiopia everyone preaches about Ethiopia. Ethiopia as we know it now is 200 years old.

The anceint Kemites and Greeks said Ethiopia was where civilization first began. Even the ancient Kemites said they are descended from them. I think Ethiopians needs to be white for the Europeans because then civilization and Kemites would be white as well.
Despite those lies we are all sons and daughters of the mother continent with a proud history.

I noticed Ethiopians are a blend of Nilotic and semitic mix. Habeshas are colonists from Yemen, levant, Arabia. Haile Selassie was a god emperor nonetheless! Seen as equal to whites.The only ruler alive that can trace his ancestry to Solomonic dynasty. Habeshas were amongst the first Jews,Christians, Muslims. I have never seen them as indigenous Africans but like Boers who have been in the land for 1000+years. They are their own thing which isn't a bad thing or racist ideology.
