28 years old, born and raised in Wichita. Ain't shit to do really, but also wouldn't really change it for the world. It's very much a love-hate relationship. Move here only if you want the most simple life to exist.

If you're gonna live anywhere in kansas assuming you don't want a rural area, move to Johnson county near the Kansas side of kansas city. Its certainly gotten more expensive but it's a much safer area with much more to do and is still magnitudes cheaper than any big city suburb while giving a similar feeling. Saying this as a kansas native.

Lived here my whole life and I will admit it is a great city but with some nuance. If you live on the far north, east or even far west sides itās super nice. We have some great places to eat like ziggys pizza and dempseyās burger pub and the the cost of living is pretty reasonable. Nothing too exciting happens but thatās why most people decide to live here. No traffic, quiet and nice.

I had to move out of wichita, the drug users got too bad out there. One broke into my my dads house recently and stole all his heart meds ā ļø but theft is super duper commom, we had dudes trynna steal catalytic converters on the regular in the parking lot of the resteraunt i used to work at and we had to close down the restrooms twice due to someone smoking meth in them. Its cheap if you can handle the tweakers ig.
