How do you get rid of an itchy nose really fast? I'm Dr. Manan Shah, I'm an ENT and allergist. If your nose is itchy, what it probably means is something is irritating it. And most of the time the thing that's irritating it is like pollen or dust or dander or something is getting into your nose and your body's releasing a chemical called histamine. You're having essentially an allergy reaction.

The easiest way to do this is to rinse it with saline and get whatever's causing you to have that itchiness and irritation out. And then the second best way to do it is to use something like Claritin or Benadryl or Allegra to decrease the allergy symptoms.
