All the dudes you mentioned where physicists.
Physics is the least understood science where we still need alot of theories to describe what we observe. For example, we know that gravity works a certain way. Things with mass attract each other and more massive things attract stronger. But we dont know why things attract each other in the first place. This is where we theorize.
I cant believe I have to explain this to a grown man.
