FromSoftware has announced Shadow of the Erdtree, a forthcoming DLC expansion for Elden Ring. The developer shared the DLC’s key art image and a tweet, but did not reveal any information about the content or the release date of the expansion.

The DLC is in development as Elden Ring celebrates its first anniversary, which has been a remarkable year for the game. Elden Ring has sold over 20 million copies worldwide and received numerous game of the year awards from various outlets and events.

Another Tweet from FromSoftware’s account hinted that they have more to reveal later, but it will take some time before they share more news.
