Place each end of the band around the back of your hands with the thumb hooking the band to hold it in place as you move through the full range of motion.
Stand in a split stance with the front leg, fully extended (hip externally rotating some) and the back leg planted on the small toes (hip internally rotating) with your glutes engaged to stabilize the pelvis and create your foundation.
Brace your abs and obliques to keep your ribs, parallel to your pelvis throughout the movement and avoid flaring and compensation from your lumbar spine.
Roll your shoulder blades down and back rotating your palms forward with your arms long at your sides. Your arms should be in line or slightly behind your body.
Now make a full snow angel overhead, keeping the bands in tension.
Inhale through the reach from the hip to overhead and exhale as you return back down to your hips.
