I have a large Black Mexican family. My family is my village. We cook together, we learn together, we talk, we help eachother. We do argue but we get past it. We laugh all the time. We have alot of family functions. We've traveled so many places together. As of recently
my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I just had a baby and had to move twice in one year. The swarms of friends and family that have come to help us and pray with us has been amazing. ❤

It is authentic. You know it when you feel it. It does not waiver. You don't have to bend and contort yourself to fit in with love. You are not being real with yourself if you are doling out love to someone or something that will not reciprocate it back to you.

I love, love though i don’t know if i truely experienced it from someone, it always makes me feel all warm and blissful seeing other people in love. I have experienced unconditional love from my dog and my mother / grandmother i have been able to use decerment to help me with spotting what’s not love in the sense of how i feel in certain circumstances and how i work through the feelings a person caused. So when love comes to me in the near future any day now i’ll be in the most beautiful euphoric state ever… i just know it 🙌🏾 and im already in my gratitude mindset for it ❤. Macho u will be blessed to receive yours too sis! it’s coming just keep doing the work and waking up everyday gracious to yourself and ur beautiful kids ! with that energy you will attract / call out the most beautiful soul you deserve ❤

I’m someone who always sought and desired the love from my family and those I held near and dear to my heart. Someone who eagerly embraced others and their problems assuring them that I’m always there for them even before they can even think to ask for help. I did this because of the way I loved or better yet wished they would care for me. Still I was disappointed because I wanted to feel like I belonged, was cherished and protected. For the past five years I detached myself from all those who cause me pain, left me feeling unworthy and broken. Through counseling I sought the answer to two simple questions….what makes you happy and what does love mean to you?
I realized love is a deep sigh of relief. A sense of peace and warmth around by body. It’s a smirk that quickly turns into a bright smile when I think of a special someone who values me. It’s a protective covering, a kindred spirit, stability, and grace. Love lives within me. I am love. With this comes my happiness.
If no one told you today…You are enough. ❤️

Well, i measure love in the way that i care for myself. When my family and friends can't be that for me. I know for sure that the one place i can find it is within myself. When i have to question it.... in a way, i have lost it somehow. When i love myself, im less likely to seek it out from someone else because i know what it feels like without the affirmation from someone else. Love is a feeling of fullness. it's a knowing. It feels like overwhelming joy... Like a warm hug feeling inside yourself. For me, it started with dropping off the bags Of unworthiness.
