Many research studies have shown that simply by viewing happy, calm faces, our own brains respond as if we were happy and calm too. The same parts of our brain light up whether we are seeing somebody smile, or smiling ourselves, and this can release healing DOSE chemistry!

So, while it might seem silly that I am essentially doing the same things in most of my reels, there is a reason for it. Just by looking into the camera and smiling, or making gentle swaying or rocking movements, I am helping your brain relax and feel safe.
