I had this exact hand at the hard rock playing 1/2. I raised 50 on river, bb calls, utg jams, I fold, bb folds. He had K4, bb had AA, I had 99.

Wasn't expecting THAT hand, but... Yeah, this was either bluff-or-beat, and that bet was way too small for bluff. Had to have it.

What in the hell was 5 6 doing checking there ... he raised and smashed basically the best possible outcome on that flop... granted this time it would've screwed him over but he could've gotten away once the 4 hit.

I didn’t put him on quads but more on 66 55 or 65.
He could also have a overpair 1010 JJ but I don’t think he would have shoved. Neither with 77 88 just call.
For QQ+ he would have 3bet preflop.
In any case 99 can’t win for sure.
