I was no contact for 6 months and they reached out. And I responded and man was that a huge mistake. There's a reason no contact is important and one reason is to avoid confrontation with someone that is abusive. Every once in a while it's a blessing when your ex reminds you why you're not together.

Reached out outta the blue after 6 months to say, "hope youre doing well". No accountability for going silent that long or even an apology for the inmature behavior when I called out some shenanigans.
I didn't reply Instead, I deleted the text immediately. Had Enough of almost 5 years of silent and gaslighting behaviors. I moved on, and they can too now that I have zero interest (busy in therapy and healing my trauma, which attracted this dysfunctional dynamic). I see now how I have to focus on me, or else I am in the catch-22 cycle of insanity. Lesson learned thru suffering. Hallelujah I am free by focusing on me! ❤😂
