It may be crazy considering the game isn't even centered around the MC... but reach with always be my favorite halo. Halo 3 and ODST are close second and third.
It wasn't without its flaws but it was an integral part of my teenage years. I can't even say how many weeks worth of hours my friends and I spent playing it over the years.

Reach has the most underrated campaign in the series imo, its realism is something I wish 343i took more inspiration from instead of trying to recreate CE every damn time

Halo reach was the best and started a good thing for halo I loved the halo 5 guardians fire fight, assassinations , armor sets , gun play and that’s coming from someone that grew up playing,halo ce,halo 2 and halo 3
But I’m done with halo infinite ruined halo for me

Ehh everyone has their own opinions.
Most of my friends loved it. Only people who didn't were the ones who were so far up 3s ahh that they couldnt grasp playing something different.
Halo Reach was perfection. Few little things i didnt like, like armor powers, but they fit the game. They fit well. Halo reach was the last Real Halo title in my opinion. We started pushing out landish with 4 and on. Infinite, early on, was a nice homage, but then got butt sexed by the microtransaction hell that is live service games now.

In my experience everyone loved 1 - Reach. It was just everything after people criticized. Also didnt help one half of bungee went to make an awful game, leaving 343 to struggle on their own.

Was not a huge fan of the multiplayer. The maps, guns and gunplay in my opinion were all a step down from Halo 3. But they definitely nailed the look and tone they were going for. Miles better than infinite too

Halo reach was bungies swan song. It was an amazing game at the time and still remains the best halo in my mind (may be a bold claim). It was so creative and the customizable aspects of it just made it better. I will always remember this game fondly
