The gym and my running shoes are my therapist. I visit 6 days a week and I pay with pain discomfort and soreness, but benefit with peace of mind.

my old therapist never suggested discharge but we did reduce weeks...and then something would happen and we'd go back to every week. current therapist thinks she'll discharge me and i want to scream noooooooo

Wow. I've never agreed with something so much. My therapist has also asked if I wanted to go bi-weekly and I keep pushing back and saying no. I'm not comfortable not seeing her every week. You're braver than I am.

That definitely sounds fantastic, all i heard was “my therapist said i’m doing better with myself and i won’t be needing too many sessions” if that’s the point of the discharge, honestly i understand change can be difficult and hard i know that well, it’s good you’re handling it well 🤍

Good shit man! Keep it up! I remember moving to biweekly, it's scary but it's a big step in your growth. Remember what you've learned from your therapist, it's gonna be hard but you've got this buddy
