Ya know. I'm so happy I was born into Metallica and my parents were fans. Born in 1980 and i remember my first Metallica song i heard from dad was Battery.
My dad took me to over 80 Metallica concerts and when he passed in 2020, Metallica has so much more meaning to me.
I just saw them in New Jersey in August of this year and just out of repetition I bought 2 tickets. I didn't even notice until I'm driving the 5 hours to the show that I bought an empty seat.
Didn't even care, didn't sell it or anything, i just imagined me and my dad sitting together again.
