How about the tip of hunting midday? You can call all you want or go hunt them like deer just sitting waiting on them to walk by you. 10am to 3pm sit and listen for one to start gobbling on his own. A lot of time gobblers will lose their hens midday due to nesting or sitting. Too many “Turkey Hunters” leave at 9 am because he isn’t gobbling. Patience kills a lot of turkeys but also staying past 9am.

What about he gobbles all morning after fly down. This one don’t shut up. He gobbles his head off. On neighbors property though. I haven’t asked for permission. What I dealt with today in ky. I left at 2pm. Had hens in my field. And even a hen he had flew over me about 11am this morning to my field.
