2. Define the problem with precision. Make sure you’re working on the right problem by understanding the root cause.
3. Leverage the constraints you’re working within. Turn them from obstacles to overcome, into assets you get to use.
4. Tap into analogies and draw parallels between your problem and how similar issues have been solved in other industries or domains.
5. Encourage divergent thinking and break free from your conventional thinking patterns to help you see new possibilities.
6. Embrace decision-making because problems are meant to be solved, not dwelled upon.
7. Take action and learn from your journey. Pretend you’re testing a hypothesis, and gathering data so you can come back and see if your experiment was a success or not.
8. Iterate and refine the solution by analysing and leveraging the data and feedback you collected when you took action, and refine your solution.
