HOW TO GREET AND BE POLITE🤝

It is very important to understand the formal and informal aspects of communication in Russian culture.

💾Informal speech is acceptable only for close people. If these are your family members, close friends or children, then you don’t need to use official words with them.

💾We speak formally with others. With strangers, superiors, colleagues, respected people.

So, today I want to teach you how to greet properly in a formal situation.

The word PRIVET, which we have already learned, does not fit.

Usually we say the word ZDRASTVUJTE which means ‘Hello’. It is a very difficult word to pronounce🫠. But there are some other phrases to replace it. So remember them.

✔️ Dobraje utra - good morning
✔️ Dobriy den’ - good afternoon
✔️ Dobriy vecher - good evening

These words will make your vocabulary wider and will be very useful in formal communication.

Watch a video with a correct pronunciation and record yours in the comments below. Good l
