I would love to see some shock load testing of chains, ropes, shackles, and hoist! Safe rigging needs a strong knowledge of risks, and I don't see many effective shock load tests, mostly tensile testing.
And I think making a setup to test shock loads sounds interesting, so details on how you do that would be helpful to me.

Whybis a 4 point lift divided by 3 per leg instead of 4. If a rig has 4 2 inch wire good for a total of 148 tons. Why am I only good for 111 tons

Pleasd help with inspection requirements and load testng for monorail hoists. Does the beam have to have capacity marked? Can they be tied into facility structure? Drawings?

I have 12 m length of container I wanna go to lift it and the load weight with its own weight is almost 26 ton if we anchor the hook top of the container and lift it may b due to heavy load it will bend down from center bcz of heavy load weight and slings compressive Force how we make it safe and prevent the occurrence of this behavior thankx
