@heavybows
Marlon,
I can hardley believe my eyes ! Impressive! I will have another bow done for you fairly soon. The tips will be alot better for width,hopefully reducing hand shock and add some speed.
I want you to know I highly appreciate what you are doing here. It is helping us to make improvements to our War Bows.

Ryan, good to hear from you again. I hope life is treating you well.
Good question about the arm bending. To be honest I am not completly sure. However, I do know that technique is more important than strength. Marlon Torrez is the right guy to ask that question to. ( heavybows)
Also, there is a video I wacthed a couple of days ago here on You tube. I will find i again and send the URL and post it here for you.

@rudderbows Right, that's what I was thinking. Maybe tapered to 3/4 at the nock. I know some people favor hickory for big poundages, but poplar and ash seem to be popular at that size of a shaft too. Then again, they weren't shooting a bow with a draw weight above 150 pounds. I'm no expert on wood :-)

Hopefully that day is coming. I wish I could pull it back like Marlon. I actually tried shooting it before sending it to Marlon. Got it back about 15" ( I know allot of the warbow shooting is in technique, but, it takes a person a while to work into it. marlon has been working on this one for a couple of months.
