I think the first thing I would do, if I ever visit Japan again, is find a shrine dedicated to Inari o kami.
I don't worship him (or any other gods), but I do respect him and occasionally think about him endearingly when I cook dinner.
I think visiting his shrine would be a really serene, meditative experience for me ❤

I never knew untill now that Japan has different coloured Tori gates than just the red. Very informative and interesting. I wonder if each colour gate has a specific symbolence and meaning?? 🤔
