Yasuke was a retainer to Nobunaga. Not a samurai. Basically akin to a squire for knight.

Yasuke wasn't a samurai. He was a weapons bearer for Oda Nobunaga. None of the records avaliable ever addresses him of being a samurai and he disappears from history and Japan after Oda Nobunaga's death.
