In reality, duplex rounds don't immediately split up like that, nor is it a consistent pattern. There's a reason they aren't really ever used.

The ShAK-12 uses 12.7x55mm.
12.7x55mm is not the same as .50 caliber (12.7x99mm), although both use bullets that are approximately 12.7mm (or 0.50 inches) in diameter, 12.7x55mm is a shorter, subsonic round primarily used in Russian weapons like the VKS (Vykhlop) and ShAK-12, .50 BMG (12.7x99mm) is a much more powerful round used for long-range anti-materiel rifles and heavy machine gunsoptimized for close to medium-range with heavier, slower bullets.

MORE INFO: surprisingly, these duplex rounds had an effective range of about 300 meters, meaning while they did have spread, it wasn't at much as you think. that being said regular 556 has an effective range of double that or more
