Putting that anchor there will split out .

Wrong location of the anchor, should be lower than the weak point. 2” from the bottom of the stringer will prevent tension and cracking !!!! Before posting something, learn first to do it right way.

Isn't that anchor going into a mortar joint between the two cinder blocks? I would think the mortar would crack and that would be an unsafe anchor. Never mind I think that brick is just wall covering if you look below it's something else
