As a kid growing up in WV lots of guys had these 760s and boy did I want one!
Probably the best deer rifle ever made
I have been told they don’t hold up to lots of shooting but then most didnt see a lot of shooting

These are beautiful rifles. I own two 7600’s. One a rifle in 30/06 and a carbine in 35 Whelan. The 35 Whelan carbine makes for a fast rifle on sambar deer over hounds down here in Victoria. Thanks for sharing.

The old Amish automatic 😉

Great rifles. I love my Remington pump action rifles. I buy them when I can because they don't make em like they used to. One of the best to take to the woods for any kind of north American big game. In .358 Winchester or .35 Whelen these rifles were coveted by bear hunting guides as well for their reliability and power

Love your videos!
Thousands of the 760s and 7400s were made in 30-06. Great hunting guns!

I have a 1951 adl, frist year for the 760 , it came with what people around here call buckhorn sights and has the dimond pattern forstock i like it because it's different not to mention acute and fun to fire! Almost as much fun as my m-1

The 760 and 7600 are very popular with northeastern buck trackers.

I live in the US and these were very common sporting rifles when they were in production
Certain political regions states do not allow semi autos for large game, Whitetail deer and bear Pennsylvania being one of them so the pump action rifle was very popular

Unfortunately the original Remington company had to go into bankruptcy receivership, and they no longer make this product and the reconstructed REM arms company

They made BDL in the earlier years to like the 1950-1960s they looked different . I seen a picture of one while cruising forums one time but I think the major difference in the earlier models was just the wood. If you google it a lot comes up on it but not a lot of pictures

That looks like a later 7600 but they are incredible deer rifles, shot toward some running deer on the last day of rifle season with one, and the one Amish guy I was hunting with asked me if it was a semi auto I was working the action that fast
