I actually liked this game better than Monopoly. If nothing else, it had a definite end. But supposedly most of us have played Monopoly wrong all these years. Does anyone have the game of Life commercial with the song? Hasbro now owns both Milton Bradley and Parker Brothers.

I LOVED this game! I got it for Christmas in 1987, and I made my family play it every chance I could get (my mom hated it)! I used to get scared when I got to "Day of Reckoning" at the end - it always sounded like a scary death to me. The remake of the board that was released in the early 90's was so lame.

Oh, I watched this so many times back in the day Still got my board game. Never realized that the mom was played by Tina Sloan (McPherson), best known as Lillian Raines on "Guiding Light". Met her. Great actress and she's such a delight in person.
