I mean to be fair jinx was only toe to toe with vi cus that bald guy injected the shit outa her with shimmer. Remember in season 1 fight wise she still wasnt able to beat vis score on that machine of theirs pre shimer. Thats why vi needed the gauntlets to even the playing field. Even vander as good as he was as a fighter still needed some kinda weapon to fight a shimmered teen who lost to vi pre shimmer. So lets not make unfounded accusations hear lol

1- Jinx is a symbol not a hero. 99% of the things she has done up until now were for herself.
2- I think showing Vi in the beginning beat all these people is to let us know she's not really trying to hurt Jinx. That being said Jinx wasn't trying either. But if I remember correctly the fight ended with Jinx almost dead

Im hoping the last part will reveal a bigger plot and direction for Vi. Cause while I do love Jinx's arc of becoming Zaun's saviour, Vi's story has been wrapped around Caitlyn too much. Even though i do love the relationship, her story is more than just having a girlfriend. I cant wait to see how it plays out with Jinx, Vi and Caitlyn, hopefully, all on the same side.

This argument is one of my favorite in the series because it is so excruciatingly two siblings who've grown apart getting snippy with each other, even the physical brawl they get into is very sibling rough housing and they stop IMMEDIATELY the second a second party is hurt. These two deapite everything they've been through can still have very petty disputes that end with little fanfare.

And the fact Jinx ended the fight because her kid was hurt and she gave Vi the âDONT TOUCH MY KID!â Glare after Vi hit Isha before tending to Isha and doing the âyouâre tough supportive mum/sister confidence boosterâ which is important parenting if she had been like âpoor babyâ Isha would of cried and hid but the way Jinx parented Isha created a confident child which is why she had the confidence to run into danger and end up in the situation she did, under different circumstances she would be someone like Jayce season 1 but because she grew up in war she became more like Jinx and I love the Parallels because itâs really interesting to see how the characters reflect each other.
Also most think Jinx and Vi are a reflection of each other but Iâd argue the closer parallel is Jinx and Jayce⌠Jayce grew up with everything he could ask for, heâs a scholar and hasnât lost much family and was winning at life, Jinx was made to feel like she wasnât good enough her inventive prowess lead to weaponry and suffering and always lost those she cares about.
Then season 2 they switch roles Jayce loses everything partly to do with Jinx and starts losing his mind where Jinx finds her family again and is becoming emotionally well but then Jayce takes it awayâŚ. They are always in the opposite path to each other and itâs like their lives are always mirrored in their characterisation and itâs great writingâŚ
Vi parallels Caitlyn as sheâs hot headed whereas Caitlyn is calm and when they get to season 2 Caitlyn becomes irrational and Vi becomes collected but still reckless⌠itâs not as black and white as it is with Jinx and Jayce but itâs still a parallel

I think Vi was holding back. Like seriously, Vi is a close combat fighter. Jinx is long range. Even in the punching game machine, Jinx only came second to Vi's score. If Vi actually went all out on her back then, she'd be dead. Specifically without her gagdets and shimmer
