I'm a prior Marine vet now serving in the Army National Guard. There is no better U.S. military dress uniform then the Marine Dress Blues. The Pinks & Greens/AGSU’s are a kinda dress uniform but also very similar to the Marine Service Alpha Uniform (respectfully I'd make a few slight changes, but it's not too bad overall). The Army Dress Blues are still authorized, but they don't issue them out anymore and they might be slowly getting phased out, not 100% sure. I'm still learning some of the Army stuff.
P.S. Before anyone asks, I did my time in the Marines and got out like a lot do, but I regret getting out. I was too old to go back to the Marines and I missed being in uniform and the brotherhood/camaraderie and all, so I figured the Army was the next best thing.

I have a friend who is a retired Army artillery officer. He was so glad they stopped using their dress blues for service uniforms too. He likes the pinks and greens and I agreed. Of course, I am a Marine vet so I'm a bit biased (OK, a lot biased). BTW, the photo of the two Royal Marines are actually Buglers (drummers) of the RM Bands Service. Their uniforms are a little fancier than those worn by RM Commandos.

Gutted that there was no Scottish regiment representation. Might be biased but they are the best 😎
