We need an infomercial with black and white footage showing people throwing saw blades away.

I hate to s*** on this dude’s invention, but I really don’t think it’s necessary to take up space in the shop with this drain-pan sized watchamacallit when I can just break out a brass brush and some gasoline.

In the past I used oven cleaner to do this job. Turned out that the acid (think it is sulfuric) compromised the brazing and teeth could fly off.
Been using Simple Green for years now. After a bit of soaking at the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket, all that gunk comes off with a light tooth brush action. Works very well.

Over the years i have had the need to clean the occasional carbide blade. I have always just sprayed a little oven cleaner on the blade and wipe it down in a little while with a rag.
Its been working for 45 years now.

All your need is a brush with some diesel on it. Wood shops have been doing this for 200years.

You lost me at “it’s not water tight” specially bc it has handles to pick it up and move it around , so let me get this straight- I can keep the water in it but if I move it from one place to another it’s gonna spill all over me and the floor …???…

An 80 cent frisbee, a touch of dawn dish soap, a little water and a few minutes to soak, rinse with water and you’re good to go.

For a chopsaw this might be nice but I'm definitely not bothering with skill saw blades, they're like $10

I have sharpened carbide blades in an emergency by putting them on backwards running the saw and carefully touching a sharpening stone to the spinning blade. Ya, it does not remake the back slope from the tooth edge, but it still helps.

Use oven cleaner for the cleaning solution it specifically designed to get rid of built on and carbon

You also need to buy custom scotch Brite pads? I could pickup just a normal box of of them and do it by hand and spray a bit of wd40 or acetone if I really need to. And if I need to soak the blade to remove the rust and gunk, that blades no longer good to use. That's a blade that's gonna explode on you
