I got professional waxes done during my pregnancies and holy mother of God it hurts more the farther along you go. My vanity trumped the pain but I wouldn’t advise it to most.

I have lived for 52 years and have never waxed my parts. My skin got so sensitive during my three pregnancies, I can't imagine wanting to do it then! (But it never hurts to ask a doctor's opinion!)

Imagine the struggle with shaving the legs but women are out here acrobatics with their waxing kits while pregnant.

I get waxed at a salon. It was possible during pregnancy. However, at some point, I couldn't lay on my back anymore, so that was the time point when I had to stop. Pain was manageable, my aesthetician is wonderful and only did small strips at a time

I definitely saw a tik tok from either an L&D nurse or aesthetician suggesting the perfect time to get that bikini wax would be right after your epidural kicks in. I can't imagine the compound flesh injuries of waxing and birthing on the same day!

Take Tylenol about 20 minutes before it. I had a Brazilian at about 37 weeks and yes it does hurt more but I didn't feel like I was going to die from it lol

Couldn't do my own but did get full Brazilians every 3 weeks during my pregnancy.

10000% would not recommend doing it yourself when you can't see the area, it's bad enough doing it yourself when you can! Let's just say there were several moments of panic with legs stuck together, and I will never do it again 😂

Is it just me, or are many of these things just....ridiculous. having been pregnant twice, the stuff folks ask these days boggles my mind. Also, I'm gen x, so I'm desensitized to virtually everything. Haha

Laser is the way to go, I've been doing it for a couple of times and the pain is way less then when I started. Pregnancy can affect laser but I swear the results even after a few visits is worth the pain

You should patch test when you're pregnant because your pH and the chemicals your body puts off changes and you can be temporarily allergic to things or have different reactions to things. When you're pregnant. They teach you that in hair school. You also should not do any hair dyes because your body doesn't create the same oils and can cause chemical burns or other very bad reactions for pregnant women

I used to wax until I found sugaring! I will NEVER go back! Holy the pain difference is crazy. And sugaring lasts longer and helps the hair thin out and soften over time. Bahahaha the "no guarantees" part 😂😂😂

Maybe early on, but once you can't see the area, I'd advise against it due to the possibility of falling over while trying to reach it. 😉
