Ancient Egyptians were an admixture of Neolithic Levantines (Natufian, PPNB), Neolithic Iberomaurusian North Africa, Neolithic Anatolian and Chalcolithic Levantines. I am willing to bet on it. I honestly would prefer foreigners to do the DNA analysis over Yehia Z Gad and his colleagues. Unfortunately, the fact that they are afraid to correct and admit faulty DNA results from 2012 makes me think they are not ready to release evidence that is worth taking serious. The 2017 samples are the only ones that are actually published that other scholars can use from ancient Egypt when researching Archaeogenetics with a connection to ancient Egypt.
