The part that messed up the most with my brain is towards 3/4 of the video, when you show the white structure at the bottom base. It seems like it’s flowing through the base, but it’s clearly not. I guess it’s an optical illusion, maybe due to the relative pitch between the two wavy structures, as other viewers suggested?

To spare anyone the research: Viscous liquids, like molten plastic don't mix easily. If you ever mixed a thick dough, you know if you hold the mixer in the middle the dough on the edges barely moves. Or think of stripes on toothpaste, the different colors don't mix as you squeeze the paste out of the tube, unless you stir it deliberately.
The same principle is at play here: The printing filament is colored in two colors, and during printing the colors don't mix, so when the printer lays it down if you look at it from one side, you see one color, if you turn it around you see the other color, and in between you see a bit of both colors, which appears like a mix between the two.
The one used in the video appears to have even more than two colors though.
