Who are the Thunderbolts?
The Thunderbolts are a fictional antihero team appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The team consists mostly of reformed supervillains. By June 2022, a Thunderbolts film was in development at Marvel Studios, with Jake Schreier attached to direct and Eric Pearson writing the screenplay. Filming is expected to begin in mid-2023. Actors who had portrayed villain-type characters in past Marvel Cinematic Universe projects were expected to be part of the film.
General Thunderbolt Ross is often a leader of the team. In the MCU we may see Baron Zemo, John Walker U.S.Agent, Yelena, Abomination, Ghost and Taskmaster. We could also see Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine putting the team together.
Daniel Brรผhl, Florence Pugh, Wyatt Russell, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Hannah John-Kamen, Tim Roth and Olga Kurylenko could star.

Contessa Valentina is definitely going to be in charge of the Thunderbolts after what Black Widow and TFATWS set up. More Zemo would be amazing, Yelena, Ghost, US Agent, Abomination, Taskmaster would be great. And purely for a fanโs dream, the Punisher would be awesome.
