unfortunately, I find myself thinking this WAYY too often, I'm still struggling to accept the changes my body's made. ED has really damaged my relationship with exercise and food but thanks to this channel, I'm doing better!

I had a really bad period with my mental health recently, and all of this triggered the voices again. I've been recovering and developing a better relationship with food and exercise for over a year, and now I'm fighting to keep from sinking again. Thank you, sometimes all you need is people to remind you that the fight is worth it and to not give up on yourself again.

i needed to hear this today. i’m 3.5 years in recovery from anorexia. i got pregnant at my lowest weight. i was very sick. getting pregnant was the motivation for me to make the choice that i needed to get help.
now that i look nothing like i used to i often think damn remember when you looked like that ?( and that’s my Ed talking). thank u for posting 🖤

i just turned 15 and last summer til january i had a massive ed. i lost a lot of hair and had to quit my favorite sport. i have gained weight and i’m at a very healthy weight rn but i don’t feel recovered. i feel worse than i did when i was like that but everyone thinks i’m ok bc i look fine. idk what to do

cats can actually pick up on things like that hun. when i was in the TRENCHES of my ED when i was 16, my cat picked up on it and would only eat when i would eat. she would sit with me and make sure i was eating with her before she would eat anything. 😢
