4 year player here and i can agree with these complaints. I especially dont like the game punishing you for lagging and disconnecting like its not our fult.

aside from the obvious ping issue, their sheer determination to make time/limited shop items unavailable for f2p players is insane
starting from stopping releasing crossover items possible to buy with fragments up to launching a whole ahh once series of RETURNING skins that arent even linked to any collabs/events but still are echo only just for funsies
been playing for 4 years now and dont mind paying for this game, but to consider people who dont want to/cant, the shop shouldve been more accessible esp considering how insane the gacha system is like

I do agree that lag is a big issue on the NA/EU server, especially because not all of us are from any of those regions 😓 and the prices are extremely expensive for a mobile game in comparison with DBD for example, one A skin on idv costed me 20 whereas one skin on DBD, a legendary one at that, was less than 5 dollars with tax included.... crazy, really 🤔

I think that idv doesn’t get enough balance updates, and the skins seem to always be for the same characters. Those are my issues

I agree with most of these however i also have a personal issue. The game has been out for almost 6 years and yet we have barley any story. They need to stop releasing characters and focus on what ones they already have. Im dying to know what happens next in the ashes of memory storyline but knowing netease’s track record we probably wont get much more this year.

I would have to agreed mostly. The gacha system is insane and there is a lot of lag that be it has improved quite a bit over the years.
In terms of characters being better or worse that’s just a skill issue and not everyone character is for everyone hence their wide range of options to choose from.

IDV’s gacha and premium shop is pretty aggressive. Between the low probabilities, SS tier skin costing $500 if aren’t lucky enough to pull it, miserly pity system, and constant time-limited items the game really breaths down your neck with that FOMO.
I just don’t understand why none of this can be permanent on the premium shop for set prices. Instead we have to deal with the gacha system that’s made to make players spend more. And before someone comes at me with “well they have to make money” they can still do that through other means like seasonal discounts/items that come back regularly to drive up hype and making good skins, which they do makes and I do love the look of over DBD. People are still willing to buy pretty skins without the spend-or-lose-it mentality that IDV is pushing.
Mobile games can be lucrative without gacha as IDV has a dedicated player base, so the gacha system is just excessive. The low probability and frequent releasing of time-limited skin is beyond a lot of people’s paycheck. Why not just have a normal premium shop that people can budget around? You have less pressure, a player base more willing to stick around, and less FOMO which can lead to less burnout.
Of course this would be less of a problem if IDV was more polished of a game with better balance, but we don’t even have that. It just fails to deliver on both ends for customers like us.

Been playing since 2018 and I poured so many hours for the persona 5 part 1 essence, roughly 100 essences later, no awakening and 2 A tier skins 😊

I think im one of those lucky..i've been playing this game for 2 half year's not paying a single dime getting s tier crossover for geisha,flourite for cheerleader, cosmic for gardener, and free limited not to mention other A tier crossover😂
