I have only used barrel grip jigsaws. Started with a black and Decker my father had, then Makita, then settled with Bosch. Rigid came out with a barrel grip compact. I have one but it doesn't perform anywhere as good as my Bosch.

Milwaukee also has one very similar to this in both m12 and m18

If I remember Norm Abrahams, on the New Yankee workshop, he had a Porter Cable, 120v one

How does this compare to the Ryobi?

I forgot about this one when I saw the Ryobi video - I have more than half a dozen Ridgid tools, so I'll be adding this to my Christmas list!

I was just thinking RYOBI had this first

I cant speak for the Rigid one, but Ryobi's version is a steaming pile a crap. Poor cuts, not enough power, the blade guide causes it to walk off sometimes, and battery life is just atrocious.

You should do yearly videos of Mount Rushmore of battery powered tools. So we could figure out a platform you may miss, as in bye bye, or better yet maybe we should look at. I get the milk of the bunch. And the festool so far. Hell. Crappy idea. Just tool companies thus far maybe. Like your stopsaw. Or each and more. Your Mount Rushmore of different types of tools. Your bench tools, hand tools corded power tool, and battery power tool brands if that makes any sense. I know you get some for free, many you buy. I am sure your tax guy would say it’s a write off bc your focused on all the fronts and giving away to you people anyways. Plus. A lot of tools being exposed to us and maybe a lot more free tools given to you for the reviews. So many tool brands so little time. And with battery exclusivity, I ended up with two not so bad brands but not really highly rated but I ain’t making money yet at the craft. But haven’t really had the selling mind yet. Spring time is a go full or fold for me.
