I've been a B.B.King fan forever since I was 3, and I play his guitar lucille, but when I discovered Albert King much later I was blown away at the way he makes his guitar talk!!! Father time is undefeated folks, I watched this a 2nd time and realized that Albert was older in this particular performance....don't get it twisted, I saw Mr Albert King when he and we were enjoying the apex of his guitar prowess, stage presence, primo fuckin vocals and his swaggalishuss baddassedness...good Lord...even the way he filled out his suit was terrifying back in his day. I know that I probably sound like a raving lunatic to some of you that pulled up here because he does sound great here but! Thru no fault of his own but due to the ubiquitous parameters of time as we know it, Albert King bravely followed the same path that many other heroes followed into seemingly becoming "less than" simply by virtue of living long enough. The ravages and indignities of old age are a terrifying prospect for such an at one time formidable performer...but the urge to gig remains stronger than the fear of not being able to play as well as yester-year.
RIP Mr. Albert King!
You are sorely missed!

SRV got almost all his licks from Albert and Jimi, both lefties. Bad ass part of Albert was that he didn't flip his strings around.
