And NONE of these involved paintings! Thank you for not recommending that because I've seen so many artists (particularly the ones on social media) use washi tape instead of artist's tape. What's worse is that some of these artists would get defensive about it whenever they get called out and/or their fans will attack on their favorite artist's behalf. The only artists I do know who don't waste washi tape are SeaLemon, Gretlusky, and Jane Davenport.π
Edit: the fact that some people are harassing me over it in this comment thread just further proves my point.

I used to cover my paper diary in washi tape halfway thru the schoolyear. But at the end, the washi tape would become sticky and dirty
