No oven No maida No butter
Cup size - 230 ml
You can take any katori or glass to measure everything.
Ingredients -
Ghee - 1/2 cup ( melted)
Powdered sugar(desi khand or dhage wali mishri or normal sugar) - 1/2 cup
Milk powder - 2 tbsp
Custard powder - 1.5 tbsp
Illaichi - 5
Flour- 1 cup(wheat flour+ besan in equal proportion)
Milk( to apply on cookies) - 1 tbsp
Chopped pistachio and dry rose petals to garnish
Steps-
1. Grind sugar of your choice and sift it.
2. Mix ghee and sugar until soft and fluffy.
3. Add milk powder, custard powder and illaichi and mix well.
4. Add both the attas and mix. Don't over knead just gather it. Add additional ghee or atta if required for the binding consistency.
5. Apply little milk and garnish with pistachio and rose petals.
6.Preheat the tawa and place the non-stick pan on it , cover and cook till golden brown from down. Don't flip and Allow it to cool down completely.
BAKING INSTRUCTIONS -
TAWA-
It took about 20 mins on tawa on low flame. It depends upon the thickness of the cookies so keep a watch after 15 mins.
OTG-
Bake it in a pre-heated oven for about 10 - 12 mins at 170┬░ or until it's done.
Keep a watch after 8 mins.
