*Update... unfortunately, it didn't fix my high heat fault. Not sure what else can fix this. My dealer doesn't seem to have a clue. Hope someone else has other ideas.* Appreciate you making this video. I was going nuts with over 30+ faults and the furnace going crazy full blast sometimes. Just made the changes and hope this fixes it. It was after the update that I started noticing. Thank you again!

Ok, so I just resolved this issue with mine at my home. The gas heat/airflow settings will help but it doesnât solve the issue. The factory confirmed that the chip in the gas valve will change periodically so youâll have to check and adjust the high and low pressures annually to the range located on the panel door. The middle pressures CANNOT be adjusted. The procedure is as follows:
1. Loosen output pressure set screw of the gas valve a full revolution or 2 but do not remove screw (if you lose that screw youâll have to buy another valve).
2. Set up manometer and make sure to have an adapter for the tubing to fit OVER the outlet port.
3. Remove the ABCD plug and jump out R, W1 and W2 to get it going on high speed.
4. Check the pressure when the flame kicks on. High speed should be somewhere between 3.2 and 3.5, whatever the rating tells you. Use your small screwdriver to adjust the small regulating dial (after removing small plastic cap) bearing in mind that itâs not spring actuated, itâs electronic. So dial up or down slowly and let off for a sec for it to calibrate.
5. Remove the jumpers and let the furnace wind down.
6. When the furnace powers down set dipswitch 2 to ON located on SW1 of the circuit board (momentarily) so that the furnace will stay in low stage while you set the low pressure.
7. Jump R and W1
8. Set low pressure. Should be somewhere between 0.5 and 0.8 or whatever the tag tells you on the panel door.
9. Remove jumpers, return dipswitch 2 on SW1 back to the OFF position. Remove manometer.
10. Reinstall set screw on valve, reinstall ABCD plug. Send it!
Note: when adjusting pressure, youâll hear the gears like a ratchet. If the pressures are not responding to the cranks, then you have a bad gas valve.

Iâve been finding the manifold gas pressure high/overfired. I had a brand new 59MN7 gas valve that had high stage pressure set at 4.5â! Iâve also been finding low stage manifold gas pressure over 1.00â-1.27â! I usually set the furnace airflow to efficient and turn on low heat rise when I setup the infinity touch/controls.
High stage 3.2"-3.8"
Low stage 0.50"-0.65"
Intermediate Stage will fall between 1.3"-1.7" (if high and low are set properly.)

Well here's the dealio, the rep from San Diego Air Conditioning finally figured out what the issue was. It turns out the new one we installed (Thermostat) with the upgraded software on it, actually was working! But the gas pressure coming into the unit (Bryant Furnace-Evolution) was actually to high! They spent a few hours out here adjusting the furnace, and reset the furnace, and bingo! No more error! Get your dealer who installed the furnace to call the manufacturer and contact San Diego Air conditioning to update their info on the literature to adjust this, the furnace is working so much better, and also doesnt cook us when it comes on! Hope this helps!

We had exactly the same problem -- a very brief fault code 33, then fault code 126, accompanied by the blower running at full speed. The method demonstrated above didn't work, so we had to call a service technician out. He ended up cleaning the flame sensor with some steel wool, and we're back to normal -- the furnace runs at its lowest stage for the most part with no fault codes.

I have had the 126-HIGH HEAT ACTIVE CYCLE code since the last software update. I have tried the procedure in the video but the code still is generated on start of heating cycle. I have submitted an information request to Bryant and I am awaiting a reply. I tried changing the blower CFM upper limit, to no avail. The last software update was about 2 months ago, September 2021

*Update* I had my installer come by and check it out. He found that there was a damper that was 1/2 way open or close (however you want to look at it). but he opened it fully and i have not encountered this issue. He stated that it was cutting off some of the Air flow and might have overheated a bit. My code would only come up when it was really cold outside. We have had some cold nights and morning here and i have not encountered the code. Fingers crossed.

I had the 126 fault show up on my stat, no help from an hvac dealer, i shut down the furnace, power off at the breaker and then removed the flame sensor and cleaned it with 0000 steel wool. after i turned the furnace back on, (it's brand new from last february) a bryant, the evolution connex stat went back to normal, the fault did not show up again. i assume bryant sent out a software upgrade to my stat as it's on wifi and you have to reboot the system for it to take hold. that's what i'm assuming. i't been 3 days and so far it's ok, going to have 18 below on sunday and see if it holds up.

Good morning, this is the first option I have found toward a solution for this HIGH HEAT WARNING Error Code 126
I also noticed you have two selections in your screen on the thermostat under gas heat? We only have one? I did change the setting I have to efficiency, and when the furnace kicks on I will let you know if it worked, but the second gas setting you selected is not even on that screen selection?? We do have the 4.05 software update, has there been another one that you know of?
Bryant, yes does not have a clue! Also SDAC has not been able to rectify this issue, after we have even switched out the thermostat because we couldnt get the last one to update from its old software. We have spent several thousand dollars on having the Evolution AC and Evolution Furnace installed in our home, and the lack of support from the manufacturer has been atrocious! Who wants to join me in a class action suit over this issue toward Bryant?? This is ridiculous!

This worked for us. We purchased a Bryant Evolution system in August of 2019. We started getting this error in December of 2022. I did what was in the video, turned off the furnace at the breaker and turned it off and back on at the thermostat. It is January 26, 2023 so far so good.
