The Roman Emperors and Danube Wine Route, spanning ten European countries including Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Hungary, and Albania, showcases the rich legacy of Roman leadership in Late Antiquity. With its Danube and Adriatic Trails, the route connects a network of sub-destinations centred around archaeological sites, historic locations, and monuments. The Route was certified as a European Cultural Route by the European Institute for Cultural Routes (EICR).
