🌴 Hey Chris , those type of trolling motors have good and bad points, good point is if your on a platform or a Capt you can control the boat to put a customer on fish ! -bad point and this is a general of all trolling motors is they can spook fish with prop noise, this push poling could be better, good point is if your in a rocky area and you know you can’t drop anchor or you’ll get hung up then the trolling motor can hold you there, now bad point - trolling motors use batteries that need up keep ( charging ) now if you got a T top with solar panels your in luck , or your outboard has an alternator, other wise you got a plug in back at the house, would I pay that much for that trolling motor 🤔 first I’d have to have a bay boat or bigger to mount it but probably not , but for you and Joshy poo on your boats and doing charters he’ll ya ! 😆

Yes. I have an I-Pilot as well. Love the spot lock for flats, bass, and bridge fishing.
Once you get used to one of these, you will never go back to the old style.
I like to fish under bridges. From time to time the water gets pretty choppy which makes me nauseous. I have often gotten out of the boat on the bridge landings and sent the boat out from me. When I'm done, I bring it back and head in. Make sure your batteries are charged. I also don't know the exact distance it can communicate with the remote, so be cautious with that. My motor also works with any Bluetooth device. Perfect for catching bait on the flats as well.
