I really like this as a quick thought. I do think that this requires a well formed conscience, and a decently solid understanding of what Godās will is for us. Sometimes we donāt feel peace because something is morally wrong, or weāre trying to force a situation, rather than waiting for Godās āYes, now itās timeā, etcā¦
ā¦but Iāll be the first to admit that often I am fleeing suffering, and seeking comfort, rather than making the right decision. Again, great short thought. Really appreciate it.

Iāve found that if a path is grace filled, then its difficulty doesnāt take away peace. Peace is a fruit of the Spirit. Where the Spirit is, so is peace. Ignatiusā rules of discernment have been of great value to me.

Sometimes I feel like there is no substance to Catholic discernment. Do you feel happy about doing "X"? Great God is giving you consolation to show you His will. Do you feel unhappy about doing "X"? That doesn't mean should shouldn't do it, you're not always going to be filled with good feelings to do something (except when you are).
