I used to hold my pick like this! Then I went to study music at University and the instructor there was like.. dude we gotta sort that out.
I switched to a more traditional grip and it's all I can do now, but it never sounded as aggressive and I could never quite pick as fast as I could before. (Only talking a few BPM nothing major)
Often considered going back, but it's been so long now I can't be bothered.

I’ve been trying to play this solo for awhile and it’s kicking my butt. I find playing Van Halen stuff more difficult on my Les Paul but you play it so effortlessly on yours. Well, done.
