Its exactly how we are in UK I am Pakistani mum trying to raise kids more into British Muslim than Western Muslim. Our struggle is same but its nice to see you guys are talking about it and becoming stronger in deen welldone boys

In the early colonial days, there wasn't an American culture, but there were many who wanted to mimic the British aristocrats and how they spend their free time and wealth. Obviously it wasn't the same, but funnily enough it was the constant attempts to mimic that behavior that eventually formed an American Identity in liberty and pursuit of happiness etc. Perhaps there is Western influence in Pakistan, but i have no doubt it will become it's own unique identity.

Pak is a country of 225 million ppl. The class they are talking abt is less than 0.0001% of total population. Plus coming for 2 days and spending time with ppl who wear western clothes and speak in fake accents doesn't mean whole of Pak youth is like that. And the person asking this question, and then both these brothers saying that there religious upbringing was more strict than what is being taught to kids or youth in Pak what hypocrisy to be honest. The world saw how elder one's fiancƩ was dressed in his proposal pics. Getting engaged doesn't make a guy and a gal mehram so one can hug or carry the girl in their arms. Some strict religious upbringing they've had.
Always liked their content but this halfbaked truth abt comman man or middle class families in Pak has literally made me so disappointed
