From your statement it appears that Dogma is fixed doctrine.
Question: Is the changing of dogma that is confirmed for centuries & promoted within the Catholic Church possible ? Can a Prelate arise to change Church dogma if it is fixed? (We are not talking music or minor calendar changes here.)
The glue for Dogma is supposed to be the Papal seal. It can be by word or by letter.
It appears to many that the Papal seal is in disarray since Vatican II. Those that are holding onto dogma receive much criticism
because they cannot approach dogma as a living, evolving entity because it should be fixed.
If the unifying principle of the Church is out of step with dogma, is it dogma that must be followed over a unifying principle?
