For anyone wondering, red eyes are when Afton is controlling an animatronic, the normal white dot with black is when the soul is controlling it, hence why the eyes are red in the trailer, they are not meant to signify that they are evil, they just give us a throwback to some in game material

I never even played these games but watched some do. Ever since this movie was announced I kept up with it as you kept making videos even with Willys wonderland and I'm freaking excited. Especially on the movie angle like everyone else seeing films dealing with development hell finally seeing the light of day! Great job to Blumhouse for getting it done.

i do agree with you about the red eyes, but i have a feeling they won’t be used for the entire time that the animatronics are moving throughout the night. if you look at the clip where mike says “hello?”, you can see freddy behind him, without the red eyes.

The only minor complaint I have (and by minor I mean something that barely changes my opinion on anything) are the red eyes. You don’t need red eyes to postulate that the animatronics are evil. In fact I think the eyes being red works against the horror factor since it feels too tropey in my opinion. But again its a minor gripe and im still super excited. THANK YOU JASON BLUM AND SCOTT CAWTHON!
