The MAGESTIC HOLY SHRINE of Mola Ghazi Abbas ASWS as viewed from within the Al Abbas AS Holy Mosque.

Abul Fazl Abbas ASWS, (Ghazi Abbas) is the brother, and standard bearer of Imam Hussain AS.
Father: Ali Ibn Abi Talib AS | Mother: Ummul Baneen AS

Ghazi Abbas AS was assigned with retrieving water for the thirsty children in the camp of Imam Hussain AS from the Euphrates river (Nehar e Furaat).
Ghazi Abbas AS, the valiant standard bearer of Imam Hussain AS, was martyred while attempting to retrieve water for the thirsty children of Imam Hussain AS.
Ghazi Abbas was buried where he was martyred, alongside the banks of the Euphrates River.

The Al Abbas Holy Mosque houses, the burial site of Ghazi Abbas AS.
Miraculously, the Euphrates River circles the tomb of Mola Ghazi Abbas AS to this day.

On the day of Ashura, the 10th of Muharram, Imam Hussain AS, the grandson of the Holy Prophet of Islam, alongside his family, friends, and companions was massacred for taking action against tyranny and oppression. On the plains of Karbala, Iraq 1400 years ago. To this day the lovers of Imam Hussain AS visit his Mausoleum, visit in the millions.

Notably, this year on Arbaeen, the 40th day after Ashura, 21,000,000, 21 million, lovers of Imam Hussain AS, gathered at his burial site, in the name of Imam Hussain AS. Arbaeen is the largest peaceful gathering in the world.

During the Ziyarat of Imam Hussain AS in Karbala Iraq, millions of piligrims also make the journey to visit other holy personalities in Najaf ul Ashraf, Kadhimiyah, and Samarra Iraq.
