Not worth.. Especially when they start to suggest you to buy products that you are not really needed actually.. 14mm and a few mm will not effect a few minutes of your ordinary common day training time.

No, it isn't. Just watch a few videos and attempt to do it yourself, realise you need hundreds of dollars worth of parts, then give up and ride what you have

i really think everyone needs a basic fit specially if u planning to clock in some high mileage comfortably. too many things can attribute to numb hands/foots and tight and aching back and private parts. since every fitter charge different it might be hard to justify how one is better than other. 300 dollar fit might go into way more detail in addressing physical imbalance there fore they might focus more on cleat wedge, q factor, sadddle heat map vs 100 dollar fit. not everyone can afford it $300+ and some people might not need it but get u into a comfortable/correct position is all one really need to enjoy the sport :) now if u want to iron out any issues thats bothering u and sqeeze out every ounce of performance by all means get the full 300+ package

Yes, a good bike fit is worth the money. A poor bike fit will end up costing you more money and pain. Don't always go for the cheapest bike fit, price isn't a guarantee of quality, but do your research on the fitters as much as possible.

The only right way to fit a bike is on a moving bike. Stationery fit is starting point.

I had a fit done recently, and it was the worst. Paid $350 bucks for it, and I swear it felt like they just eyeballed the whole fit. I’ll be going back for a follow up to get my moneys worth.

Not all bike fits are equal. Some good, some will put you in a worse position than when you started.
